My name is Liz Charlton and I have lived in the village since 1984, both of my children attended Shotley Bridge school many years ago!
I have been involved in education for more than thirty years, as a Secondary school teacher, a Primary school teacher and a Headteacher until 2016.
I have a huge interest in the education of our children and I hope my experience will help to support my work as a Governor. I believe that all children should be given varied opportunities and high quality experiences to become the very best they can be.
