Our Learning
Summer Term 1 2017 Our topic is ‘Under the sea.
The whole of the Year 1 team went to the Aquarium at Tynemouth. It was a fantastic experience and everybody enjoyed seeing the creatures and learning about them. The day ended with time to have fun on the beach. Have a look at the photographs.
Spring 2017. Our topic is ‘Space’. Photographs of our learning will be uploaded soon.
As part of our Minibeasts topic, Zoolab came to visit. We were able to hold some of the creatures if we wanted to, we stroked them or just watched the different ways in which they moved across the floor. We were told about the food that they would eat in the wild, or in captivity, where they prefer to live and who they live with. It was a really exciting day.
